Vikki has been creating art since she could first hold a crayon. Her grandmother was her first supporter, refusing to buy coloring books for her granddaughter but instead providing her with all the blank paper she wanted. “She does not want to color in the lines” grandma would say “she needs to DRAW the lines.”
This independent artist has no formal training other than two years of art class in high school. Vikki's art teacher was the best kind, making her learn new skills with the class but then letting her loose to go back exploring what she loved. Her style is eclectic and was best described by that same art teacher who said she was the only Surrealistic Impressionist he had ever known. Vikki's self taught techniques allows her to move from an almost naive art style often marked by bold colors to sophisticated designs that still retain a touch of the child like joy that she feels when creating something new.
Vikki loves animals, color, humor, music and science fiction. A self professed geek, Vikki is a creative who paints, draws and creates graphic style art and designs. When not immersed in her work, this artist dabbles in sewing and crafts, caters to her cat’s every whim and was an avid fan of her favorite television show in the world, The Walking Dead. It’s important to be prepared in the event of a zombie apocalypse! You can also catch her watching any X-File marathon that might be playing on tv because being prepared for an alien invasion is also essential. Vikki makes her home in a town that can feel delightfully small, located on the East Coast of the USA.
